How does the subscription work?
Twice a month, you get a brand new 30-minute video lesson built around a single fiddle tune. That's 24 lessons a year, delivered to your inbox and ready to watch on your own schedule.
When do I get my first lesson?
Your first lesson will be sent to you within 24 hours of subscribing. It includes a link to the video, plus the sheet music and a guitar accompaniment track.
What's included with each lesson?
- A 30-minute video lesson with the tune played slow, medium, and up to tempo
- A walkthrough of the bowing, ornaments, stylistic touches, and interpretive choices
- Sheet music
- A guitar accompaniment track to practise with
What level is this for?
Advancing beginners and intermediate fiddlers. If you can already play a few simple tunes, you're ready.
Already taking lessons? This is great supplemental material to go alongside your regular lessons, at an affordable price.

Do I get to choose the tunes?
Nope, and that's half the fun! Mark picks every tune, and each one arrives as a surprise. You never know what's coming next.
Chances are you won't know the tune. And if you do, you'll get a whole new look at it: fresh ornaments, new bowing ideas, and a deeper feel for the tradition behind it.
Are you a teacher? You'll see exactly how Mark approaches each tune, and you can bring those techniques straight to your own students.
Do I keep the lessons?
Yes. The videos are yours to keep, so you can come back to them anytime.
How much does it cost?
Monthly: $29.99/month for 2 lessons. That works out to about $15 per lesson.
Annual: $249/year for 24 lessons. That works out to about $10.38 per lesson, and it's the best value. You save $111 compared with paying monthly, which is nearly 4 months free.
How that compares: A private fiddle lesson usually costs anywhere from $40 to $100 for 30 to 60 minutes. At that rate, 24 lessons would cost you $960 to $2,400 a year. With the annual subscription, you get the same 24 lessons for $249, and you keep every video, the sheet music, and the guitar tracks to come back to anytime. That's huge savings and real value for your practice.
Can I cancel?
Yes, you can cancel anytime. Once you cancel, you won't be charged again.
Do you offer refunds?
We don't offer refunds on charges already made, but you can cancel anytime to stop future charges.
I'm outside Canada. Can I still sign up?
Yes. Fiddlers anywhere are welcome to join.
